The Beaded Guitar Strap
BIO...

      Jonelle Shenandoah Shoflay VanEvery
Born February 2, 1984
Mohawk, Turtle Clan from Six Nations, Iroquois Confederacy

I started Beading in 2000. My first piece was a guitar strap.
Some of the musicians who own my straps are Gordie Johnson (Big Sugar / Grady)John~Angus MacDonald (The Trews)George Leach  and many more local artists.

I always get inspired by music and the First  Nation (Onkwehon:weh) people and culture. Iroquois people used beadwork, which we called wampum belts, to communicate or record history.

I greatly enjoy creating these unique pieces of art.

NYA : WEH!

THANK YOU!
